Munotida Chinyanga is an anti-disciplinary practitioner creating work primarily through Direction and Sound Design. Her practice investigates how performance and sonic art can facilitate bringing together communities, especially in environments that don't have a constant connection to the arts, mediating dialogue that’s cross cultural creating both sonic and performative experiences for audiences. Munotida has worked at venues/institutions such as; the Young Vic, the Gate Theatre, Royal Exchange Manchester, National Theatre of Rome and, YIYUAN TANG Museum, China, supported by UKNA.
